this product came quick, well packaged and comes with a pouch and with two wire connection, i mean two, one with spiral cord and one straight, it would have been nice if plugs are both angled but no biggie and it also came with furry wind screen awesome! the mount snug right on the hotshoe made with nice material flexible to damphened the shake. My videos now definitely sound a lot better than using the built in mic. sound more crisp.

It sounds just fine. The dead cat wind cover is really helpful and I can film in the wind without much trouble.
I believe this is the best budget shotgun microphone.

The Boya mic works great… however, like many reviews I’ve read here, the mounting clip is pretty fragile. Mine, like many other, broke on trying to put the mic into the clip (Boya, please look at fixing this fairly common issue). Thank goodness for superglue and patience. I was able to “fix” the clip so the mic could still be used.

I love this mic, it doesn’t pick up unwanted frequencies and its way better than the rode video mic go
